How do I find out the cancellation policy on my booking?

Updated yesterday

Cancellation conditions and refund amount are determined by the cancellation policy. The options might be:

  1. Free cancellation before a certain date — if the order is cancelled before the specified date, there will be a full refund. If cancelled afterwards, there is a penalty, the amount of which is specified in advance.

  2. No refunds on cancellations — this is the policy for all non-refundable rates. Since for hotels, cancelling bookings involves the risk of downtime, many properties offer non-refundable rates at a reduced cost. This way you get a discounted room and the property gets a guarantee of occupancy.

How to find out the cancellation policy

Before booking

The cancellation policy for each rate is listed on the property page. To read the terms and conditions, hover over the i icon.

After selecting a rate, there will also be an i icon on the booking page. Hover over it to see the cancellation policy.

If the booking has a free cancellation period, the terms and conditions are written in green.

If there is no free cancellation period, the terms and conditions are written in gray.

Be sure to review the cancellation policy in advance. By completing your booking, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions.

After booking

If the check-in date hasn't passed yet:

  1. Open the “My Bookings” section in your account.

  2. Find the desired booking and click “Cancellation Terms and Conditions.”

If the check-in date has already passed or the booking has been cancelled:

1. Go to the email account linked to your account.

2. Look for the booking confirmation letter; the cancellation policy will be stated on both the letter and the attached voucher.

To find the email faster, type the query “Booking Confirmation” into the search bar and expand your search to all folders, including trash and spam.
