How do I change a booking?

Updated this week

The first thing to determine is whether your booking is a refundable or non-refundable.

  1. A refundable booking is one that has a free cancellation period. For information on whether your booking has a free cancellation period and when it expires, please see the “Cancellation Terms and Conditions” under “My Bookings.”

  2. A non-refundable booking is one where the cost is not refunded upon cancellation, or the free cancellation period has already expired.

Changing a refundable booking

  1. Cancel your booking in your account. You can find details here.

  2. Make a new booking with the desired parameters.

Changing a non-refundable booking

  • Contact support in any convenient way.

  • Please include in your request the booking number, dates of travel, name of the property, what changes you want to make and for what reasons — this will help us in the approval process.

We will contact a representative of the property, find out if changes can be made to the booking and under what conditions, and get back to you with the news.

What can be changed

  • Names and number of guests.

  • Dates of stay

  • Room category

  • Meal plan

  • Number of rooms in the order (to the downside)

  • Check-in or check-out time

Important: We will need to coordinate changes with the hotel representative or supplier, and often this is done in several steps. The earlier you submit your request, the better the chance of a successful change.

What cannot be changed

  • Cancellation policy in an already created booking

  • A booked hotel or apartment (even for a similar one in the same chain).

  • Additional fees and charges as specified in the “Conditions of accommodation” and “Additional information” sections. Read more about possible taxes and fees here.

Please note

  • We cannot guarantee changes, as they depend on several factors at once: availability, of the property itself, and the technical capabilities of the supplier (paragraph “Cancellation and modification of bookings” in the booking rules of the service).

  • If you have changed the booking yourself by contacting the accommodation provider, the accommodation provider is solely responsible for compliance with the agreed conditions; we cannot influence this from our side.

  • You may have to pay extra for changes. We will tell you more when we get back to you with terms and conditions information after your request.
