What documents are required for checking in?

You will need proof of identity to check in at any property. The list* of suitable documents depends on which country the hotel or apartment is located in.

For checking in within Russia

Adult guests

(one of the documents is needed)

For Russian citizens:

  • Passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation

  • Temporary identity card of a Russian citizen

  • International passport if you permanently reside outside Russia

For foreign nationals:

  • Passport of a foreign citizen

  • Another identity document that is recognized in the Russian Federation

For stateless persons:

  • Identity document issued by another state and recognized in the Russian Federation

  • Temporary residence permit

  • Residence permit

Minor guests

(all the documents on the list are needed)

For children under 14 years of age:

  • Birth certificate

  • Identity document for accompanying child (any of the documents listed above)

For children over the age of 14:

  • Child's identity document

  • Written consent of the child's legal representatives (adoptive parents, guardians), if they are not checking in with the child

Please note: without these documents, the hotel may refuse check-in. A driver's license, business license, library card, student ID, or military ID are not acceptable for check-in.

For check-in outside Russia

  • International passport of the Russian Federation

It is recommended to study in advance the check-in conditions in the country you plan to visit, as well as the rules of entry and exit in the countries you will be in during your trip.

If you do not find the information you are looking for, please contact support. In your request, please describe the issue in detail, provide the address and name of the hotel. If you have already made a booking, please include the booking number and travel dates.
