On the hotel page in the “Location” section you can see significant places nearby — airports, train stations, and places of interest.
The distance from the hotel in a straight line is indicated opposite each property. Actual distance may vary slightly.
If you specify a city in the “Destination” field on the Ostrovok homepage, a list of available hotels in the city according to the selected parameters will appear, with the prices of the most budget rates in each hotel.
On the right side of the page, you will see a map of the city with the location of all the hotels offered. A list of filters is displayed on the left, by which you can narrow your search, for example, by selecting a hotel in a specific area of the city.
You can choose a hotel in your desired location using the map or location-based filters:
Sorting: The hotels closest to the center will be displayed at the beginning of the list.
Location from the city center: You can select the distance from the center in kilometers with this filter.
Districts: Available if the selected city is divided by districts.
Attractions: Shows hotels close to available attractions in the city.
Nearest metro (if there is one in the city). To use the filter, you need to specify the name of the station near which you want to find a hotel.
After selecting the desired filters, the list of hotels will be updated with your wishes.
