How to get and spend GURU points?

All members of our loyalty program can receive GURU points and spend them to pay for bookings. 1 point = 1 ruble.

How to check the balance of points

The point balance is displayed:

  • On the website’s header next to your e-mail

  • On the website and mobile app menu next to the GURU level

Don't forget to log in to Ostrovok to see your level in the loyalty program and your points balance, as well as GURU discounts and bonuses.

How to spend points

GURU points can be spent on any booking with full payment on the website or mobile app (“Pay now” rate), even if it's your first booking on Ostrovok. On the payment page, select the “Use GURU points” option and specify the number of points you want to deduct.

Important to know

  • Points can be used to pay up to 20% of the booking price.

  • GURU points can be spent on any hotel booking, with or without a GURU rate.

  • Points can only be deducted when you pay in full for your booking on the website or app (“Pay now” rate). No points will be deducted for prepayment.

  • Points cannot be used with promo codes. Only one option can be selected when paying for a booking: “Use GURU points” or “Apply the promo code.”

What happens to points if you cancel your booking

If the booking is non-refundable, once the booking is cancelled, the points used will not be refunded.

If you cancel your booking during the free cancellation period (if such a condition is stipulated in the rate), the points are automatically returned to your account and can be used again. The validity of the points will not be extended.

If the points should have expired by the time you cancel your booking, they will expire within 24 hours of being returned to your account.
